Funding your undergraduate degree has never been easier.
You may be able to get a Tuition Fee Loan and help with living costs if you're from an EU country. You may be eligible for help with your living costs if you’ve lived in the UK for more than 5 years before the first day of the first academic year of your course. For further details please visit gov.uk/student-finance/eu-students
Depending on your circumstances, you can apply for a:
- Tuition Fee Loan: Paid directly to GSM London by Student Finance England to cover the cost of your degree programme. You will only start repaying this loan once you complete your studies and are earning over the repayment threshold (at £25,000/year in 2018), paying 9% of the amount you earn each year which is over the repayment threshold.

You can apply for student loans online using the Student Finance website
. The process can take up to 12 weeks, so it’s best to apply as soon as you know you will be studying at GSM London.

Student finance Wales and Northern Ireland
Students from Wales need to apply for student loans through Student Finance Wales, regardless of where they’re studying in the UK or if they hold a UK Passport. However because GSM London is a private institution, Student Finance Wales will not finance our programmes as we do not have the designation on the Higher Education Institution (HEI) database.
If you are a student from Northern Ireland and would like to attend a course within a private institution in London, you should be aware that for certain private institutions, you will not receive the full tuition fee loan support to cover your tuition fees. The fees that are awarded by Student finance NI for private institutions are £3,805 — you will be responsible for funding the remainder of your tuition fees. Self-funding students
If a loan from Student Finance England is not for you, you have the option to pay for the programme yourself. At GSM London, all undergraduate students can pay for their studies through an interest-free payment plan. Get in touch with one of our student finance advisors to find out more. The UK Government’s Department for Education (DfE) requires alternative providers to undergo annual monitoring as a condition of continued designation of its programmes. This designation allows eligible students to access support from the Student Loans Company. If this annual monitoring is not successful, the designation of programmes may be withdrawn and students would not be entitled to funding from the Student Loans Company. In all previous annual monitoring, GSM London has been successful in maintaining designation for all its programmes.
