Think you don't meet the criteria? Think again

You may have your reasons for thinking it’s not worth applying to study for a degree. But before you talk yourself out of it, talk to GSM London. We assess every application on its individual merits and if we believe you’ve got what it takes to succeed at GSM London, we’ll find a way to make it work.

Worried you won’t get the grades you need?
Don’t worry, you’re not the first person to struggle with BTECs or A-Levels and you certainly won’t be the last. But even if your grades do fall short, it’s not the end of your higher education dream. If you’ve got five full GCSE passes at a minimum of grade C (grade 4) or equivalent qualifications you’ll be able to apply to our Foundation year programme. If you don’t meet the standard entry requirements you may be able to apply as a non-standard applicant, please see here for further details.

Not sure you’re cut out for higher education?
We often meet prospective students who simply don’t see themselves as ‘university material’. Perhaps you lack confidence in your abilities or maybe you weren’t regarded as a high flyer at school and higher education was never even suggested to you.

Either way, we’d urge you to consider degree-level study here at GSM London. When we welcome students of all ages, backgrounds and experience. Our culture of support — including our extended degree programmes with integrated Foundation Year — makes it easy to help you adjust to the university experience. You’ll feel part of the GSM London community in no time.

What our students say about their determination to succeed...

Syed Abdal
BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance (with Foundation Year)

“Personal circumstances got in the way of completing my BTEC at college. The Foundation Year programme enabled me to get on to a degree without having to retake my college qualifications. I also gained a large number of skills, preparing me to study for a degree.”

Dale Godfrey
BSc (Hons) Business Management (Accelerated)
“I’ve always been business minded and when I started at GSM London, I was already running a company that imported surfboards from South Africa to Cornwall and Australia.”

Sonia Sakaria
BSc (Hons) Business Management (Accelerated)
“I study at the Greenford campus, and there is a really friendly atmosphere, the tutors and lecturers are great and really go out of their way for their students. The fact that GSM London is small is really unique."
