The Diploma in Travel and Tourism – Level 3 is a comprehensive study of how the tourism industry works and the issues affecting it.

With modules covering sector-specific subjects such as geography and tourism you will gain specialised knowledge of the industry; and this will be complemented with more generalist skills relating to finance and management. All modules will be taught within the framework of travel and tourism.

You will be taught through a combination of on-line lectures, face-to-face classroom discussions, seminars, field trips, self-study and group study, and the interactive nature of the course will ensure that you have a thorough understanding of the industry and the key skills required to succeed.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the commencement of the course.  Selection of students at Diploma level is at the discretion of GSM London, students should have completed the following:


A formal secondary education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) or equivalent

English language requirements:


If your first language is not English or you have not completed your secondary education in English, you will need to demonstrate the following levels of proficiency in English:


IELTS (Academic Test): 6.0 (no sub score lower than 5.5)

Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): 55 (no sub score lower than 51)

GSM London (in-house) English language Proficiency Test: 6.0
