GSM London statement on QAA report
Debi Hayes, Acting Provost at GSM London said:
“Following a standard ‘cause for concern’ visit , the QAA have reported discrepancies in the information and record keeping in relation to one pathway on one specific programme, which have occurred over a number of years.
“We fully accept the QAA’s findings and are already taking steps to address the points raised. Indeed, as the QAA report makes clear, our current leadership team have already been taking action to address the points raised.
“We are assured that the quality of the education we offer and the outcomes that our students enjoy have not been affected. Nonetheless, we have a policy of continuous improvement and will take action wherever necessary to ensure that everything we do upholds the highest possible standards.
In the course of working with the QAA in this process GSM London has already begun to develop an action plan to address the points raised. Now that the final report has been published we will work closely with Plymouth University, our validating partner, to finalise and implement this accordingly.”
