Debi joined GSM London in 2013 and provides leadership and direction to GSM London’s academic faculty. She’s an innovative educationist who champions strengths-based learning. Prior to her current role, Debi was the Director of Partnerships, Head of Access and Widening Participation at the University of Greenwich. She was responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the university’s collaborations, as well as expanding and developing its work-based learning strategy and external partnerships. Earlier in her career, Debi was the Dean of the School of Creative Enterprise at the University of the Arts London. In this role she oversaw the school’s rebranding and strategic development, and managed the learning experience of over 1450 students across 15 UG and PG programmes. She was also the founder of the peer-reviewed Creative Industries Journal launched in 2008, and established the Centre for Design Futures in partnership with Cranfield University. Debi sits on the Boards of Linking London and the University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC).
Debi holds a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts, a Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and an MA in Arts Management.
