Annette is an HE professional with over 20 years experience whose career to date has involved a variety of roles with responsibility for student experience, service delivery, technology development, planning and communication.
Previous positions with the University of Greenwich and University of Plymouth have included responsibility for a range of professional service departments including registry, student support, timetabling, student accommodation, student finance and postgraduate student support and management. Annette is also experienced in policy development, faculty business management, research centre management and in project delivery with an emphasis on business change management. She has a keen interest in developing systems and technology to meet student and staff need and has worked on significant enhancement projects including curriculum renewal, web site replacement, timetabling upgrades, student portal development and student records systems projects.
Prior to her career in HE, Annette spent time in the Civil Service, in managing a small company of architects and surveyors, music promotion and in retail management working for well-known brands such as Harrods and Marks and Spencer. Annette is an experienced harassment advisor and ACAS-trained workplace conflict mediator.
