Employability and related work experience are key aspects of GSM London’s degrees. This February, as part of their coursework, students studying the Strategic Management module will have the opportunity to work on a real life project for the Global lift and escalator company KONE.
Zach Thompson, Programme Leader for Business Management explains: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for students to demonstrate their business acumen in a ‘live’ commercial environment – whilst benefiting from the support of their tutors. ‘Each project team will submit a proposal. The top five groups selected will receive public speaking training from the Careers and Employability Department and then present their findings to KONE’s Great Britain Installation and Commercial Director. The overall winners will be invited to present at KONE Great Britain Headquarters.’ KONE Great Britain will also make available two internships in 2014 to be selected from the GSM London students of this course.
