GSM London Graduation – Barbican Centre November 2015

GSM London Graduation, Barbican November 2015

For many students, graduation is a time of reflection and mixed emotions. This moment marks an end to up to 4 years of hard work and devotion, and farewell to an institution that not only contributed towards your academic achievements and opportunities, but gave you the chance to make life-long friends; friends who will support you in the years to come just as they did throughout your studies. Nothing could overcome the sense of pride felt by not only our graduates, but also their families and members of staff who felt privileged to be able to share a significant moment in their lives.GSM London Graduation, Barbican November 2015

Attending Graduation is a memory that will surely last in the mind of our students. It is for this reason that all our ceremonies are hosted at well-known venues in the heart of London. One moment that will definitely be remembered was the speech given by Kenyan born Brit, Dr Jeannette Adu-Bobie, who was awarded an Honorary Degree from GSM London at the November 2015 graduation. Dr Adu-Bobie is an expert on meningococcal vaccines, and has come across many obstacles during her time in this field, admirably overcoming them all. She is an inspiration to us all.

GSM London is privileged to have students from a varietyof backgrounds, contributing many different characteristics. It is for this reason that our ceremonies are always unique. The hall for this year’s graduation, held at the Barbican Centre, was filled with endless rounds of applauds, cheers and flashing lights as graduates took selfies on stage! One student even performed a short dance, something you aren’t likely to come across anywhere else.

The ceremony celebrated the success of both our Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from a broad range of degree subjects. We would like to once again congratulate our graduates, and remind you all that as alumni of GSM London, you are always welcome and we will support you in any way we can; especially through the service our Careers Team provide. It is time for you to take with you the wealth of knowledge and experience given to you, to make a brighter future for yourselves and future generations.
