Maintaining ties with business

We strive to ensure that our business focused degrees maintain close ties with their relevant sector. That’s why the Events Management department recently invited Mark Tasker, Managing Director of Fruition – an international events management company – to speak to GSM London students.

Mark gave a lively and interactive presentation that covered his own career, what qualities he looks for in employees, and the current challenges faced when delivering national and international events. His accompanied his talk with videos from Fruition’s corporate exhibitions and conferences, and from large-scale music concerts – many of which can be found on Fruition’s website. (www.frution.co.uk)Mark received an extremely positive reception from the international events students.
