Events management is a fast-growing area where setting yourself apart is really important. Gaining great experience, working on your own events and having relevant anecdotes for job interviews can really give you that foot in the door. That’s why at GSM London, we are incredibly proud of our BSc (Hons) in Events and Entertainment Management.
Our degree programme includes a lot of hands on experience through live project-based learning and numerous volunteering opportunities. We have some high profile organisational partners, such as St John’s Ambulance, who can provide exciting opportunities and some big names for your CV. Alongside this, students will be inspired by guest lecturers, and seminars run by some of the leaders of the field.

You can have the opportunity to meet with industry people and visit different locations around the world.”
What skills will I learn on this BSc (Hons) Events and Entertainment Management course?
Our programme is specifically designed to give you the tools and knowledge to build a career in the industry and to make the most of all the opportunities that come from studying for an events management course in London, our bustling capital, full of world-famous companies and venues.
Our programme covers all the important aspects, with modules focusing on different industries and sectors, such as tourism, music, or oil and gas. There are also modules on computing, finance and account management, as well as on digital marketing and communication.
Students can contribute articles and blog posts to the GSM London Eventum publication, which will give them an opportunity to write about and share topics that are important to them, and gain great exposure. Students also have the option to achieve the DMI Certified Digital Marketing Professional qualification, version7.

What qualifications do I need to apply for a Events and Entertainment Management course at GSM London?
GSM London ask for applicants to have two A levels (A*-E, 32 UCAS points), or a Foundation Year programme with a minimum of 120 credits. Equivalent qualifications are accepted, subject to Plymouth University approval. If you have none of those, then there is the opportunity for a non-standard application. You will be asked to send in a CV, along with work references, and demonstrate a keen interest in the industry.
