QAA

The College underwent a Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Higher Education Review in September 2017, with the report being published in March 2018.

Following the Higher Education Review, each provider is required to produce an action plan
in response to the conclusions of the report. The action plan is intended to support GSM London in the continuing development of its higher education provision by describing how we
intend to take the findings of the Higher Education Review forward.

Quality & Governance Office

GSM London’s Quality and Governance Office is responsible for the oversight of quality assurance and governance arrangements across the College. We work closely with a number of stakeholders within the College such as students, academic staff, professional services staff and the Students' Union. External stakeholders include the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), the Office for Students (OfS), a range of professional, statutory and regulatory bodies (PSRBs), and the University of Plymouth who validate GSM London awards.

Ola Dejo-Ojomo
Governance Officer

• Implementation of the College’s governance structure
• Oversight of the operational planning of bodies within the College’s governance structure
• Providing governance support to the College’s principle bodies including Academic Board, College Executive Group, Strategic Partnership Management Board and Continuous Improvement Group
• Maintaining the College Enhancement Plan
• Production of a calendar of meetings for each academic year

Assistant Governance Officer

• Providing governance support to the College’s Faculty Board, Education Committee, Student Enhancement Committee, Health and Safety Committee, Academic Regulations and Awards Committee
• Student Insight Working group
• Maintaining a Register of Interests of members
