Ali Alghazzawi – Iraq – BSc (Hons) Oil and Gas Management with International Foundation Year
The specialist course in Oil and Gas really attracted me to GSM London; this fits my plan nicely to return to the Middle East after my course to work for an energy company.
I felt supported by the International Course Advisors from the start. They advised me on everything I needed to know as an international student – how to apply and enrol, and up to date visa information. They never got fed up with me asking questions and they were really interested in what I wanted to study.
Devki Pandya – Tanzania – BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance
The system of lectures and seminars is great. The lecturer gives you the information and then in the seminar the tutor goes over it. You can ask questions and if you don’t understand anything you can discuss in more detail. The classes are small, which is an advantage - the tutor can communicate with you better and the students get more one-to-one attention.
I love the fact that GSM London offers careers support in skills such as CV writing, as well as vocational training
Darya Kovaleva – Russia – MBA Financial Management
I came here from Novosibirsk in Siberia, Russia. I had offers from five universities in London but decided to go for GSM London.
The thing that really strikes you about the College is the general atmosphere. It is immediately friendly, helpful: it feels like a big family. It’s not just the students – though they’re great, of course! It’s everyone who works at the College: from the person who first meets you at reception, to all the administrative staff and all the lecturers. I never thought there was a problem they couldn’t help me with, and they usually found the solution immediately.
